FlyZone hosted a back to school prayer and picnic in Amzie Moore Park on August 4. Students and other school staff gathered in the park to receive prayer for the success for the upcoming school year. Prayer was offered by local pastors, Apostle Joseph Young of House of Prayer for All People and Pastor Dr. Terrence Rash of St. Peter's Rock M.B. Church. FlyZone's executive director, Kierre Rimmer, closed out the evening by offering words of wisdom which he coined as "FlyTalk" to the students. Vanessa Wade of Rosedale donated chili dogs and Joyce Tucker handed out snow cones to all who attended. Also in attendance were DJ Terry Nolden and the St. Mark Church of God in Christ Praise Team. Thanks for all who came out! FlyZone hopes that this will be the best school year for all teachers, staff, and students.
